Privacy Policy

The short version: your text is yours. We don't sell it, we don't train models on it, and free AI checks run without an account, so there's no profile to attach them to. The rest of this page spells that out.

What We Collect

  • Text you submit for detection.Text pasted into the AI detector is processed to produce your score and then deleted. It is not stored, on free or paid checks alike, and free checks aren't linked to any identity. There are also no ads anywhere on this site, so nothing about your visit is monetized around your text.
  • Documents you save in the editor. If you have an account and save a document to your history, that document is stored so you can access it later, and you can delete it at any time.
  • Account information. If you sign up, our authentication provider (Clerk) handles your email and login credentials. We never see your password.
  • Payment information. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Your card number never touches our servers.
  • Usage and technical data. Standard web analytics (page views, approximate location from IP, device type) via Vercel Analytics, plus rate-limiting counters keyed by IP to keep the free tier available for everyone.

What We Don't Do With Your Text

  • We don't sell your text or your data to anyone.
  • We don't use your text to train our models or anyone else's.
  • We don't publish, share, or expose your text to other users.
  • We don't show ads, so nothing about your visit is sold to advertisers.
  • Detection requests are deleted after scoring; there is no archive of checked text.

Processing happens transiently to produce your detection score or humanized rewrite. Saved documents exist only for your own history and are deletable by you.

Service Providers We Rely On

We use a small set of infrastructure providers to run the service: Vercel (hosting and analytics), Clerk (authentication), Stripe (payments), and Upstash (rate limiting). Each receives only what it needs to do its job and is bound by its own privacy terms. We also use Cloudflare Turnstile on the free detector to block automated abuse.

Data Retention and Deletion

Anonymous free checks aren't retained as a browsing history tied to you. Account data and saved documents persist until you delete them or close your account. To delete your account and its data, use the account settings or contact us.
